I’m confused- 60 trees were removed from our golf course without permission from the RSFA Art jury’s approved plans? ( another  reason self regulation doesn’t work) Then somehow San Diego County got involved and mandated a 60 tree replacement plan from our RSFA within 6 months? What did the RSFA submit to San Diego County? Because 60 trees don’t look like they have been replanted on the golf course, in fact more trees seem to gave been removed over the last few years. Was the trail beautification planting along the golf course a way to make up for golf issues? Is the trail oversight different than the golf course oversight? What did the trails committee say about this? What did the members who live along the golf course say about trees planted in front of their homes to replace the trees removed from the middle of a golf course? Now 2 more large trees are being removed ( for safety) by the snack bar to make room for a larger building. Is there a replacement plan for removing such large scale 50 + year old trees? Will the RSFA replant the 2 trees in front of member’s homes on the trail rather than in the middle of the course again? Should RSFA adopt a fire safe tree that can grow large and keep our community’s  unique  forest for future generations? Since there is a water way and annual flooding on the course, could tree planting be beneficial in those areas?  Without all the information it’s hard to understand what is going on on here, as more large trees continue to disappear from our community’s landscape.

    dazed and confused
