A residential fire in the Covenant Monday evening prompted a significant emergency response, with fourteen units arriving on scene at 7:11 p.m. at 15745 Las Planideras.
The fire broke out at a five-bedroom home currently under renovation. While the main residence was unoccupied, individuals were reported to be staying in the property’s guest quarters.
Firefighters battled the blaze from the roof and were seen ventilating the structure by opening windows to reduce the risk of explosion.
The 2.55-acre property last sold in 1999. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
