Keep Ranch Politics Civil – and Fact-Based

It’s election time in the Ranch. In past years, that often meant accusations and rancor. This year seemed different. The candidates were civil – even friendly with one another. Unfortunately, that has now changed.

The Silvergate civil war has entered the election. I was probably naive to think it wouldn’t.

It appears the pro-Silvergate group has endorsed Chuck and me. I was not aware they had done so until the anti-Silvergate group sent out a mailing attempting to blackball both of us.

As a sitting board member, I have stayed silent on Silvergate, allowing the project to follow the proper Rancho Santa Fe procedures and processes.

You have three diverse candidates to choose from. I simply hope you make your decision based on facts, experience, and each candidate’s vision for the Ranch – not on misperceptions or campaign attacks.
