The RSF Association created an arboretum in 2010 to showcase currently about 60 different tree and shrub species that are suited to our climate. The arboretum is a great resource for homeowners looking to plant new trees on their properties.
Each tree has a metal plaque that gives the tree name and characteristics:

The arboretum is located along San Elijo Avenue on the north side of the RSF golf course as shown in red here:
