BE AWARE OF POTENTIAL BACTERIA BLOOM AT ARROYO

Visitors to Arroyo Preserve should not touch the pond water nor let dogs, horses or other animals near it. The California Regional Water Quality Control Board warned the Association of the possible presence of a cyanobacteria species in pond scum on top of the water. They collected samples to test for species identification and cyanotoxins, and results are pending. The bacteria is harmful to humans and pets.
