Community Concerts of Rancho Santa Fe

By Community Concerts of Rancho Santa Fe

September 21, 2021

A little bird told me there are still good seats available. First concert is October 1st.

Community Concerts is thrilled to once again provide our community and surrounds with fun and good music. As usual, our Friends at NORTHERN TRUST are still sponsoring the wine for you to enjoy with friends and neighbors during pre-concert and at intermission. Covid concerns will be addressed regarding food choices and serving of light hors d’oeuvres pre-concert and desserts at intermission.

The season begins with the high-energy concert on October 1 with THE DIAMONDS and “Let’s Rock Broadway!” with hit songs from Jersey Boys, Mama Mia, Grease, Movin’ Out and a dozen other popular Broadway hit musicals.  And, of course, they will also sing their rock ‘n roll favorites & winners of 3 Gold Records: Silhouettes, The Stroll and Little Darlin’.  Other awards they have received are Vocal Group Hall of Fame and Doo-Wop Hall of Fame.  It’s a high tech, high energy concert – a great way to kick off our season! You won’t want to miss the totally fun first concert of the ’21-’22 CCRSF Season!

On November 12 the DUO BALDO musical comedy team will entertain our audience, combining virtuosic performances, theatrical humor and pop culture. Their performance has been described as “a magical example of talent and enjoyment, exhilarating and excellent pianist and violinist.”

The CCRSF audience loves classical music and CCRSF will satisfy those fans with light classical by both Duo Baldo and BRANDEN & JAMES on March 25, a duo described by NPR music as “dazzling cello and soaring tenor vocals.”  They have become a brand name in the crossover classical musical world the likes of Josh Groban, The Piano Guys, and Jackie Evancho.

We end our season on Thursday, April 7, with the talented jazz crooner, MARK KINGSWOOD and his 4-piece band.  Mr Kingswood is equally at ease across all musical genres.  With his easy manner, Mark’s chat to his audience has the feel of a one-to-one conversation as he acknowledges the influence of Michael Bublé and Harry Connick Jr in making his beloved swing music popular again.

Concerts are held in the beautiful Village Church Fellowship Hall. Ticket price includes a wine bar hosted by Northern Trust and a catered light supper before the performance. Dessert and coffee are served at intermission. Doors open at 6:15pm. All performances begin at 7:00pm

Individual tickets are $75/performance, series pricing is $225/ticket.   All tickets for the Series or Single dates are available by credit card at our website, www.ccrsf.org, or by mail with cc or check to PO Box 2781, RSF 92067; checks made out to Community Concerts of RSF.  Please include phone, email, and mailing address.  Questions?  Contact us at info@ccrsf.org  Hope to see you October 1!
