Dear RSF Community Members,
Ballots are out and it is important that you vote.
I have been reflecting on all of the great things our Community offers us. For me they are the top notch clubs. You can find me at the Tennis Club often playing both tennis and pickleball. The trails, again I am there often with my horses and dogs, and the equestrian centers. For many it is the Golf Club with its amazing new course, or the playing fields watching your children’s games, or the restaurant enjoying the scenery, a meal, friends and glass of wine!
The Rancho Santa Fe Association Board wants to make sure you enjoy all aspects of your Community. We want to keep your amenities top notch, your Community safe, your infrastructure in the 21st century and you to feel like you are part of a close knit community in a rural setting.
This cannot be done without a strong, cohesive, transparent governing body. We have not had this the past few years and it has made it extremely difficult for anything to get done for our community and its members.
It is now time for you to make that change by voting for three new Board members who you feel can make a strong team with the four members we have left. This past year we have had a very dysfunctional board, which is unpleasant to observe, and makes it difficult for the Association staff to do their job on day-to-day basis.
I have been very involved in the Rancho Santa Fe Community since I moved here eighteen years ago. Eight years ago, after my youngest daughter left for college, it was time to serve as an elected Board member. I served on the Rancho Riding Club Board, serving many roles including President, and am finishing my second term on the Rancho Santa Fe Tennis Club Board where I was President for 2.5 years during a very challenging time. Serving on both Boards has allowed me to work with our top Community leaders, and our dedicated Association staff. I have learned from our top Community leaders how to be a responsible Board member and strong leader.
I look forward to taking the background and experiences I have to better our Community so that you can enjoy all the things I have raising my family here and living here the past 18 years.
I would be honored to receive your vote. Stop me on the trail or at the Tennis Club if you have any questions or email me at cplebeau@aol.com
